Get to know our dynamic HALL Structured Finance team in our “Meet the Team” series.

Meet our Manager of Capital Markets Bryan Smith. Bryan joined HALL Structured Finance (HSF) in 2019 and focuses on capital markets activities for HSF as well as HALL Group’s real estate holdings. Prior to joining HSF, Bryan held various roles at Foremark Real Estate and ShopCore Properties, an affiliate of Blackstone. Bryan is a graduate from Texas Christian University and holds a Finance BBA with a Real Estate concentration from the Neeley School of Business.

1. What university did you go to and what was your degree in?

• • I graduated from TCU with a degree in Finance with a Real Estate Concentration. Go Frogs!

2. What is your favorite movie or tv show?

• • My favorite TV show is The Office.

3. Do you currently have or have you ever had a pet? If so, what are the name and breed?

• • I have a border collie/lab mix named Ellie. My wife and I rescued her and she’s the absolute best.

4. What are your hobbies outside of work?

• • I love to travel, so I’m always looking to plan new trips and adventures.

5. Who inspires you or has been a mentor in your life?

• • My dad inspired me to get into the real estate business and continues to be a great mentor.

6. Tell us a surprising or fun fact about you.

• • I’ve been scuba diving since I was 15 years old.

7. What’s your favorite thing about Texas or an area you’ve lived in?

• • I live in Fort Worth and it’s my favorite place in Texas. From the Stockyards to the vibrant downtown, there is always something to do.

8. What is your favorite memory from working at HALL?

• • My favorite memory is visiting our winery in Napa, CA, and learning more about my favorite HALL Wines.
