Fred Marchena
SENIOR CREDIT OFFICER
Fred Marchena has over 25 years of commercial real estate experience, including in the areas of loan underwriting, asset management, and loan originations across various lending platforms that include Balance Sheet, CMBS, Life Company, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac. Mr. Marchena has held Vice President and Director positions at major institutions including Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, KeyBank, Capital One, and Orix Real Estate Capital. Prior to joining HSF, Mr. Marchena was the Director of Balance Sheet Lending for Lument, previously Orix Real Estate Capital.
Mr. Marchena joined Hall in 2021 and is responsible for overseeing HALL Structured Finance’s new loan credit underwriting process, as well as working with outside legal counsel in negotiating and finalizing loan documents. Mr. Marchena is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a BS in Business Administration and minors in Accounting and Economics.
